  145.    frivolous question in order to allay the alarms excited by
  146.    considering it as the word of God.  But Baruch, with great
  147.    simplicity, so answered their question, as to shew that he
  148.    only acted as Jeremiah's amanuensis, and wrote verbatim what
  149.    he had dictated.
